One Dirty Weekend

A few weeks ago Nick and I went camping up at Strawberry with some friends. They happen to be the parents two other boxers (one of them is Cali's brother.) So we spent one fun, but dirty weekend fishing and playing fetch. Oh how I love summer!

When mother nature doesn't like you

So, the weirdest thing happened to me today. I was taking a short break to go outside and walk around as I customarily do when my brain starts to fry. I was very much enjoying the pleasant weather, sipping my water bottle while listening to the birds chirp and the buzz of power lines overhead.

Then all of the sudden I felt as if someone had just thrown a rolled up sock at my head. I look up to see this crazed bird squawking at me! At first I thought, "wow I bet he feels stupid." Then I realized this was no accident! For a brief moment I felt like the star of that Alfred Hitchcock movie. I flailed about for a bit as it chased me to the door of my office building. All the smokers out front were looking at me like "What the devil is wrong with you."

It's really disturbing when something that should be afraid of you isn't. Like Spiders.

Rachel's Baby Booty

We had a fun baby shower last Saturday for Rainy Jane. She got lots of cute stuff for the little baby Tyler...or Noah...or who knows.

I lie to fit in

Hello world! I'm finally joining the ranks of bloggers. I'm not sure why it's taken me so long, as I am quite the computer geek. I guess it's because I have my subtle way of boycotting things that everyone else likes. For example I have no ambitions at all to read those twilight books everyone raves about. And it's not because I don't want to, it's because everyone else wants me to. Call me weird. I did the same thing with Harry Potter. And as you can see by this first posting, I do eventually cave. And JK Rowling is a genius.
